Nikki Roxx / Roxy Laveaux

You know it's kinda hard to believe that Nikki Roxx is Roxy Laveaux.

Roxx has wrestled in numerous North American independent promotions such as SHIMMER Women Athletes, Squared Circle Wrestling, Women's Extreme Wrestling, Professional Girl Wrestling Association, New England Championship Wrestling, World Women's Wrestling, Chaotic Wrestling and Ring of Honor. She has wrestled in Mexico for promotions such as Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and Lucha Libre Femenil.

Roxx debuted in TNA Wrestling on July 15, 2007 at the Victory Road pay-per-view. Identified as "The Voodoo Queen" Roxxi Laveaux, Roxx was introduced as the valet of the Voodoo Kin Mafia. Following a bout between the Voodoo Kin Mafia and Basham and Damaja, Roxx brawled with Christy Hemme, the valet of Basham and Damaja. On the July 19, 2007 episode of Impact!, BG James claimed that Roxx was a descendant of Marie Laveau. A week later, her name was modified to Roxy Laveaux.

Now on the opposite side of the spectrum from Kelly Kelly is Maria.
Maria is gorgeous, but she gets out there and takes bumps.
She's wrestled Christy Hemme, been in Battle Royals, Gauntlet matches, pinned Victoria, wrestled Kurt Angle,Edge,Lita and beaten Melina on a few occasions.
While she may not be the best lady wrestler on the WWE roster, she does try!

WWE: Kelly Kelly

Kelly Kelly is very popular.
Just Google her and you get like 2,380,000 hits.
My question is why?

Kelly ( Or Barbie Blank her " real name") was a bikini model for Hawaiian Tropic and Venus Swimwear when WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis offered her a developmental contract with WWE.( He should get a steel chair shot for that.)
Despite having no previous wrestling experience she accepted the contract and was assigned to the WWE's "farm territory", Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) for training.( I cant blame her for that. It's a contract with the WWE) Even after being called up to WWE's main roster, she used to fly to Louisville, Kentucky once a week to work OVW shows, first as a ring announcer and referee then as a wrestler.
One of her first matches took place at the September 6 OVW TV tapings where she participated in a Women's battle royal won by ODB.( I wonder how ODB kept from snapping her in half? )

Why does she annoy me?
Well really she personally doesn't. She could be a great person. I don't know her.
What annoys me is the WWE taking time away from WRESTLING.

Amy Marie Weber is an American actress, model and former WWE Diva.

A former WWE Diva Search contestant, Amy Weber would become a heel diva for World Wrestling Entertainment's SmackDown! brand, with her gimmick being John "Bradshaw" Layfield's image consultant in The Cabinet. During her time in The Cabinet, she had a brief feud with Joy Giovanni. She resigned from the WWE in February 2005 because of her allegations of harassment from some of the wrestlers.

Extreme Exposé-Kelly Kelly, Layla El and Brooke Adams

Kelly's Expose is kind of the WWE's version of the Nitro Girls, but smaller.
Kelly started it first as Kelly's Exposé, but that segment took a hiatus when Kelly took a leave in December of 2006.

When she returned in January of 2007, she was joined by fellow WWE divas Layla El and Brooke Adams to form Extreme Exposé, a three person dance troupe. Extreme Exposé now performs weekly, utilizing a different song and costume each week.

Dancing girls on ECW?
Were he dead, Paul Heyman would be spinning in his grave.

WCW: Teri Byrne / Fyre

Teri Byrne(born April 11, 1972, in Pensacola, Florida) was a member of WCW's Nitro Girls and is a former fitness competitor.

She first started out competing as a fitness model. Then, she met Kimberly Page and she joined WCW's original Nitro Girls as Nitro Girl Fyre in 1997 and stayed with them until 1999. She then opened a website as a model but shut it down after a couple of years. She appeared in a non-nude Nitro Girls pictorial in the September 1998 issue of Penthouse, along with Melissa Bellin, Chae An, and Kimberly Page. After the demise of the Nitro Girls in 2000, she was a member of the pop music group Diversity 5 with some other former Nitro Girls.

Teri grew up in Atlanta and practically lived in the stables in which her dad raised Arabian horses. Attending college in Arizona, she devoted much of her time to speaking out against cruelty to animals and the inhumane treatment of Greyhounds and Saddlebred horses. Eventually the aerobics bug kicked in, and Teri went from a student to an instructor. She entered herself in numerous fitness competitions, including the Ujena calendar swimwear contest and Miss Fiesta Bowl for the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Teri met Kimberly Page, who worked out in the same gym. Kimberly approached her with the idea of joining her new Nitro Girl troupe. Teri wowed everyone at the audition and got the position. Her family and friends were obviously shocked that she was going to dance for a wrestling company after spending 5 years at a cushy mortgage company job. "I was always the straitlaced good kid out of all my siblings. Everyone thought I went off the deep end."

Two weeks later, she and six other complete strangers debuted on NITRO. For two and a half years 'Fyre' appeared on Monday nights with the Nitro Girls until January 2000. At that time, with a change in the WCW management, as well as troupe leadership (Kimberly left the Nitro Girls), Teri decided it was time to move on.

"The concept of the troupe changed, and the direction they wanted to take the girls in really changed. It was too difficult for me to go along with those changes. Being one of the originals, I really put my heart and soul into the group, and I didn't feel good about what was being done. One week we're excited to be back and dancing, the next I'm getting mashed potatoes thrown at me and I'm wrestling."

Disappearing for almost a year, Teri resurfaced with several other ex-Nitro Girls (Spice, Paisley, Tygress, and Chae) to begin a singing career with their new group called Diversity 5.

In 2001 she was actively involved with the development of a comic book entitled "Stiletto" about a bounty hunter portrayed by Teri. The book, published by Gypsy Press Comics, was originally to be titled "Nytro", but Turner Broadcasting would not allow them to use anything associated with their WCW franchise. Issue #1 of "Stiletto" formally debuted at the Wizard World 2001 Convention in Chicago on August 17, 2001 . However, it is not known if the book ever went into regular publication as no copies of it can be found for sale anywhere.

She is now married and is a personal trainer.

Nancy Elizabeth Daus Sullivan Benoit (May 21, 1964 - June 25, 2007) more commonly known by her in-ring names as Woman and Fallen Angel, was a professional wrestling valet and manager who had retired from the business. She was married to WWE SmackDown! Superstar, Chris Benoit.

All of my U.S. women's wrestling blogs are going to be this one updated entry I made back in February.
I guess it's a way of expressing sadness at a life cut short.
I can't even begin to express the shock I felt hearing the news. It reminds me of the when Eddie Guerrero passed away.
Sherri Martel last week and now this.
And this seems so senseless.

Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus News

This has been a busy month for Trish Stratus.
Earlier this month she appeared at "The Second City Never Sleeps" fund raiser to benefit The Therapeutic Clown Program at Sick Kids, in Toronto.
Then she made an appearance at the Paradise Toronto Comicon.
And finally the former WWE Diva was a presenter at the NHL Awards.
So Trish hasn't been resting on her laurels. At least Canada is seeing quite a bit of her.

TNA: Leticia Cline

Leticia Ann Cline was born October 1, 1978. She is an American model and is currently employed as an interviewer by the professional wrestling promotion TNA Wrestling.

Cline started modelling at the age of 14. She appeared in magazines such as Beauty Handbook, Harley Davidson, Makes and Models, Maxim, Saks 5th Ave and Triumph, and spent a year modelling in Japan.

On October 23, 2006, TNA Wrestling producer Jessie Ward recruited Cline to TNA. She made her television debut on the November 30, 2006 episode of TNA Impact! as an interviewer, along with Jeremy Borash. Cline was originally billed as Letisha, which was a miscommunication by TNA, but began using the legitimate spelling of her name shortly thereafter.

In 2006, Leticia did print work for Maxim magazine including a TAG Body Spray advertisement and an article entitled Show us you bathroom. Currently, Leticia is a semi-finalist in Maxim's Hometown Hotties on Maxim’s website, http://www.maximonline.com/ Starting June 4th of 2007, the public can vote for the entire week, to crown Leticia Maxim's 2008 Hometown Hottie. As part of the competition, Leticia made a Basic Instinct home video parody staring herself and some of her TNA Wrestling friends including: Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Showtime Eric Young. This includes the famous “leg-crossing” scene.( She does bear a resemblance to a young Sharon Stone)

News Flash: WWE releases Trinity

Now the WWE has released Trinity.
Well they might as well, they sure werent doing anything with her!
As I have mentioned before the WWE looks like it might just be feeding TNA's womens division.
Trinity worked for TNA once so it's not that much of a stretch.
Could you imagine Gail Kim, Jackie Moore, Jackie Gayda, Shelly Martinez, Ms.Brooks, Christy Hemme( okay thats a stretch, but Christy in the past has acted like she really wanted to learn to wrestle) and Trinity all in one division?
Gail, both Jackies and Christy were all one time WWE Divas.
Played right, TNA could get really nasty with this.

Katarina Waters / Nikita / Katie Lea

Katarina Waters (born November 10, 1977) is a female professional wrestler from the United Kingdom better known by her ring name, Nikita. She is currently signed by World Wrestling Entertainment, where she is assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling and wrestles under the ring name Katie Lea.

Outside of wrestling, Waters has started acting, doing scenes for a British independent action movie by Utopian Pictures called Tough Justice. Nikita plays Agent Milan in the film.

In late 1999, Nikita began training with the Kent-based promotion NWA-UK Hammerlock after she had searched for a school on the Internet. Working at that British territory of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) allowed Nikita to participate in the ITV Meridian show Trans-Atlantic Wrestling Challenge, which was a British vs. American tournament held on January 4, 2000 in the UK for British television, featuring wrestlers from various NWA promotions. During the show, Nikita won its Women's Championship Cup.

Nikita went on to wrestle for promotions all over the world. One highlight came when she wrestled Sherri Martel at an NAWA show in Germany, but her biggest exposure came back in England, where she began wrestling for the Frontier Wrestling Alliance (FWA) in 2002.


While in FWA she met with a young up-and-coming FWA star, Hade Vansen, someone she would tag team with on occasion. She also faced off in feuds with Sweet Saraya, who entered the FWA rather unceremoniously when she attacked Nikita from behind while she was supposed to be guest announcing. She also feuded with Paul Travell and The Family.

In 2004, she left FWA due to personal reasons, and took a little time out.

In 2005, she reappeared on the UK wrestling scene, and went on to compete around Europe. She became France's Queens of Chaos Women's Champion, which earned her the moniker "Queen of Chaos". During this time she also made appearances for Italy's Nu-Wrestling Evolution in matches against Vanessa Harding.

In early 2006 Nikita came back to the FWA, and went on to help her former tag partner "The South City Thriller" Hade Vansen pin Joe Legend to win The Champions Series Final at New Frontiers on February 5. Vansen took Alex Shane’s FWA British Heavyweight Championship in this five-way main event, which, aside from Vansen, Shane and Legend, also featured "The Phoenix" Jody Fleisch and "The Wonderkid" Jonny Storm.

Katrina Waters signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) during May 2006, following tryouts at a WWE UK TV taping. She left the UK for the United States the following month, but first handed in her Queens of Chaos Championship, after first retaining it, in her last European independent match, on May 8th.

Katarina Waters joined WWE's Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) developmental promotion, making her OVW debut on August 23, 2006 at an OVW TV taping under the new name Katie Lea defeating Melody in a dark match. Waters, as Lea, continued training in OVW throughout 2006, feuding with OVW divas Beth Phoenix, ODB and Serena.

At the November 1, 2006 OVW TV tapings, Katie Lea defeated Beth Phoenix, Ariel, Roni Jonah, Melody, Jenny Mae, ODB and Serena in a 8-Woman Gauntlet match to capture the OVW Women's Championship. Lea defended her title against Beth Phoenix in the 1st Ladies Ladder Match in OVW History. Katie lost her OVW Women's Title to ODB on June 2, 2007 at a Six Flags OVW Event.

Torrie Wilson, Ashley Massaro and China

It appears the reason Torrie Wilson was moved from WWE RAW to WWE Smackdown is because Ashley Massaro is going to Survivor: China.

I wondered how the WWE would let this happen, but according to Pro Wrestling Insider:
" According to Dave Meltzer, CBS contacted WWE and asked them to send them someone that would make a good television character. With WWE already being low on male talent, it was obvious that they would send a diva. Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn both felt pretty strong about giving Ashley the role, especially Dunn. Ashley is not expected back on WWE television until the end of the year and that is why she was “suspended” from SmackDown."

Mickie James, Candice Michelle,Melina,Jillian Hall last night on WWE RAW

Last night on WWE RAW they had a fairly good women's tag-team wrestling match.
Mickie James and Candice Michelle, against Melina and Jillian Hall.

Jillian did pretty well, I kept expecting to see her use the " Fender Bender", but no such luck.


Candice is continually improving. She started out really well, but faded fairly quickly. Once she builds a move set, she may actually get on a real roll.

Mickie of course got a HUGE pop, them being in Richmond and all, but she deserved it. She got the hot tag from Candice and came in like a ball of fire.

Melina got the win for her team using a really cool pin. If you didn't see it, you need to go to WWE.com and check it out. Hopefully its posted there.
All in all it was one of the best WWE divas matches I've seen in awhile.

Veronica Caine is a former professional wrestling valet also known as Barrett Moore.

Veronica Caine used to work as a stripper and also worked under the name Barrett Moore. She was a regular on the Howard Stern radio show .She was hired by Extreme Associates and changed her name to Veronica Caine. She became their Contract Girl and appeared in many of the controversial movies by Lizzy Borden. In 2001 she was brought in to the wrestling promotion XPW as a valet for the group The Enterprise which had various members over her time there.( XPW was somewhere between ECW and WEW. Though both groups would probably consider the comparison an insult.) The heel group feuded with The Black Army and Mexico's Most Wanted and had many colorful storylines.

Veronica was trained at the XPW wrestling school and participated in some mixed-tag matches and also wrestled Lizzy Borden during their feud together. One famous match saw Veronica stripped totally nude before the lights went out to save her modesty. When XPW ended, Veronica continued to make adult movies before leaving the industry and working as a lap dancer and doing Internet modeling. Veronica is in a relationship with wrestler Johnny Webb.

In 2003 Veronica worked for Lucha Xtreme Wrestling and was promoter for Revolution Pro.

Kristina Laum, currently residing in Maple Shade Township, New Jersey, was a professional wrestling valet and manager in ECW and WCW. She used the names Kimona Wanalaya (sometimes spelled Kimona Wanaleia) and Leia Meow.

Kristina Laum was asked by her friend Raven to go into professional wrestling while she was working as a dancer at a club.

Kristina started in Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1996 as Kimona Wanalaya. She was Raven's valet and would occasionally get into catfights with his opponents' valets. She would often provide semi-sexual entertainment for the fans. Laum performed a striptease at one ECW event in order to appease a rowdy crowd. She also engaged in a (then shocking) lesbian kiss with Beulah McGillicutty, which shocked Tommy Dreamer, Beulah's boyfriend.

Laum later left ECW and worked for Jersey All Pro Wrestling for a while as Kimona. She was signed by WCW in 1999, but they didn't know what to do with her for several months. She eventually debuted alongside The Varsity Club (Kevin Sullivan, Mike Rotunda and Rick Steiner) as the cheerleader, Leia Meow. She was forced to do pushups and to jump on a trampoline at ringside whenever they demanded it.

This angle soon ended and she became the manager for the "Jung Dragons" (Jamie-San, Yun Yang and Kaz Hayashi). She would interfere in matches with a flying bodypress off of the top rope onto their opponents. She also had a dominatrix gimmick and carried a whip. She used it to attack Pamela Paulshock after Paulshock had won the "Miss WCW" contest that Meow participated in on September 25, 2000. She was then attacked by Midajah and had a brief rivalry with her leading to a fight on the following Thunder during Mike Awesome's Lava Lamp Lounge segment.

By the time WCW was sold to Vince McMahon, she had been fired from WCW due to roster cuts.

She went to the X Wrestling Federation where she was a member of the X-Girls, a dance team that included Gorgeous George and Chiquita Anderson of the Nitro Girls. She was known as Kris during her time in XWF. When XWF folded, Kristina retired from wrestling.

She is now working as a stripper in the United States.

The Bikini Bash Battle Royale

A lot of times the WWE winds up with the Divas bikini wrestling.
Usually it's an " accident" ( Like the beginning of the Victoria Christy Hemme feud), but recently it was intentional.......

The Bikini Bash Battle Royale:

" This wasn't terrible and it gave some of the Divas a chance to show a few moves, but it just took way too much time. When every Diva gets a full ring entrance, it really takes up time and then the match itself goes on longer than it probably should. I guess it was only 6 minutes long, but it seemed like much longer. I was actually distracted being worried that the Divas were going to slip and hurt themselves with all of the water in the ring. They tried to have a sexy water fight while at the same time a real Battle Royale. And it just didn't work. Why not just have a sexy water fight without the Battle Royale where they were clearly trying to elevate Michelle McCool. That would be o.k., but not in his type of match. As it was, it was mostly just a sloppy mess."

TNA: Gail Kim defeated Ms. Brooks

Gail Kim defeated Ms. Brooks. Kim chased her around ringside before Brooks kicked her in the ring. Kim tried a reverse rolling cradle, Brooks held on to the ropes, but Kim caught her with a Thesz press and punches. Kim did a rolling wrist lock off the top rope, a body slam and went to the top rope, but Brooks tossed the referee into the top rope, where Kim crotched herself. Brooks rammed her knees into Kim’s back for a one count. They promoted an opportunity to win a date with Christy Hemme. Brooks did a gut wrench suplex for a two count. Kim came back with a huracanara, several clotheslines and a kneedrop for a two count. Brooks got a jawbreaker and tried a TKO, but Kim reversed it into a cradle for the pin. Roode came out, but Kim attacked him with punches before Brooks tugged her by the hair and clotheslined her to leave her laying. Roode flicked his sweat onto Kim

WWE's Victoria and Melina

Victoria was given a championship match at New Year's Revolution 2007, where she would lose to Mickie James. Just before this match, Victoria formed an alliance with Melina, with whom she occasionally teams up with for tag team matches. She even assisted Melina in her backstage brawl with Mickie during the first ever Women's Falls Count Anywhere Match on RAW.

More Candice and Melina News

Match #1 – Cryme Tyme w/ Candice Michelle vs. Nitro and Kenny Dykstra w/ Melina

The guys have to keep Melina and Candice from tearing each other apart to start the match. Kenny and JTG start off, but Nitro gets the quick tag, kicking JTG. The teamwork between Nitro and Dykstra is uncanny, as JTG is catapulted into a forearm, and then Nitro drops the leg. Big Shad gets the hot tag, and takes it to Nitro. The men knock each other down, and the women charge each other. Shade tosses Candice into Melina, and the Shad hits Nitro with the neckbreaker/powerslam combo and covers Nitro for the pin.

Winner: Cryme Tyme w/ Candice Michelle

(WWE) One Night Stand: Candice Michelle vs. Melina

One Night Stand: Melina vs. Candice Michelle [Pudding Match]

Melina is wearing goggles for the match. Candice steps in and then out and tosses Melina in the pool of pudding. They start to brawl in the pudding. Not much they can do but slam each other around in the stuff. They do just that. Melina tackles Candice outside of the pool. Candice tosses pudding in Melina’s face. Melina tries to return the favor. But Candice ducks. Candice spears Melina back in the pool. Candice rolls up Melina for a two count.

Back in the pudding and Melina spine busters Candice and applies a headlock. Melina takes off her own goggles. Candice hits a DDT on Melina into the pudding.

Candice tries to dunk Melina, and then does it again. Melina taps out from the dunk in pudding. Your Winner: Candice Michelle

After the match Maria comes to interview Candice but Melina tosses pudding at Maria so Maria leaps at Melina and all three women go at it in the pudding. Of course the pull the referee in the pudding. Melina retreats, slipping and sliding away.

For eight years, women of all ages from all over Western Massachusetts have responded with enthusiasm to the popular series of evening entertainment called "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," presented by The Republican.

Fair to guys? Maybe not. So this Saturday The Republican goes fair and balanced with a new series called "Just the Guys."

The first event in the series, replete with sweat and muscle, is called "Just the Guys: Wrestling." It will be held at the Springfield Boys and Girls Club, 481 Carew St.

"Wrestling" will feature about 20 muscle-bound gladiators in eight matches.

The headliners include guys named Brother Runt, Brutus Beefcake and Abyss, all professional wrestlers with big followings.

Also in the show will be Playboy playmate Christy Hemme, a wrestler on Total Nonstop Action on Spike TV, the same company that handles Messrs. Runt and Abyss.

There are people who go to World Wrestling Entertainment events for the wrestling … and there are others who go for the ladies.

Considering one segment of stereotypical wrestling fans is made up of testosterone-filled, beer-guzzling men, can you blame them?

That’s not to say the floor at the Wachovia Arena is going to be filled with beer cups after Monday Night Raw, which starts at 7:30 p.m. June 11.

But the Divas, the scantily clad women who wrestle, will be there. If you think the Divas are just pretty faces, Candice Michelle will prove you wrong – and not just with a spinning heel kick.

“If I could take a picture of what my legs and body looks like right now, I have 20 bruises on my body,” she said. “I’d show them those bruises first. Second, I’d talk to them about injuries.”

Michelle, 28, broke her nose in November, and superstar Gregory Helms underwent neck surgery last month for two broken vertebrae.

Sara Calloway worked for a woman whose grandchildren were big Undertaker fans. Sara explains "He was signing autographs in San Diego, so I thought it'd be nice to take her grandkids to see him. He drove up in his limo and he got out. We looked at each other and we've been together ever since."

Undertaker's "Sara" tattoo on his throat was his wedding gift to his wife, whom he married on July 21, 2000. Sara has "Mark" tattooed on the back of her neck as well as 3 other tattoos.

After getting married Sara would go on the occasional road trip with her husband - about once a month. "I wanted to spend more days with him because he's gone four days a week," Sara told WWF.com. "I only have three days a week, and the three days he gets home might get interrupted by an autograph session or whatever special appearance he has to do. "No matter how good your relationship is, you can't just survive on a couple days a week of seeing each other."

The 5'10" 24-year old blonde, blue-eyed Sara admits that she has quite the temper, which got her into trouble when she was younger. And today, more than ever, you wouldn't want to mess with her since the Undertaker has taught her some fighting techniques, including submission holds.

Eventually she was asked to participate in a high-profile storyline involving Undertaker and Diamond Dallas Page. Sara agreed, but only if she didn't have to act like the proverbial "damsel in distress." "I didn't want to be portrayed as something I'm not," she said. "I am pretty tough and that's the way I wanted to be portrayed. I've never claimed to be a wrestler, but I do know how to fight." Sara said she's always been a tomboy and has worked as a furniture mover since she was 11.

She made her WWF debut on May 28th, 2001 on a video clip shown during Raw. While enjoying the privacy of her home, she was combing her hair before being startled by something or someone moving outside her window. As video footage was shown over the next several weeks it became more and more apparent that a "stalker" was following Sara, and that he was happy tormenting her husband with his off-color remarks

As the weeks went by, it became more and more apparent - via video footage - that she had attracted a "stalker" who had no regard for the fact that she was the Undertakers wife. Eventually it was disclosed that Diamond Dallas Page was her "stalker" which led to a number of matches that usually left DDP on the short end. The feud only lasted 3 months (until the end of August 2001) with Sara just "disappearing" from any storylines involving her husband.

TNA Knockout Christy Hemme is still keeping her hand in Indy Wrestling events.
She got in the ring in Superior, Wisconsion, on Saturday and defeated Ann Brookstone, in front of 500 paid fans for Heavy On Wrestling. ( A group that brings entertainment to wrestling fans as well as helps various groups and organizations that are in need. )
Molly Holly was the special referee in the women’s contest.

Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler News

Do you have legs? And do you know how to use 'em? Because if the answer is "yes" to at least one of those questions, do we have just the event for you. See, we just got a press release announcing that on July 25, Stacy Keibler -- who was, apparently, on Dancing With The Stars or something? -- is now a judge for something called the Venus Breeze Legs of a Goddess contest. And a week from Wednesday, says the release, she'll be at the American Airlines Center "to conduct a search for the woman with the best legs in Dallas, and later, America."

WWE Champ Candice Michelle in peril

Well it was true, Candice Michelle was in a No Disqualification Champions Only Match partnered with John Cena against Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch and Umaga last night on RAW. Just as I thought things couldn't get worse, Cade & Murdoch held Candice in the corner for Umaga. Thank goodness Jeff Hardy ran in with a steel chair and made the save.
Now, did I want to see the Women's Champ in a match like this?
No.
I know the WWE loves their women in peril story lines, but Candice is the Champion and I think she should be given more respect.

Annie Social is a female wrestler from the WEW that's also touring with Nu Wrestling this summer.
She's formed a tag team with Shane Hardcore known as Hells Belles.

Team Blondage, Amber Holly/Krissy Vaine

With the possible exception of TnA ( April Hunter and Talia) Team Blondage was probably the hottest team on the Indy womens wrestling Circuit.
They went through two incarnations that I know of, but this is the original Amber Holly/Krissy Vaine team.
The team wrestled mainly on the North Carolina independent circuit, appearing with promotions such as SHIMMER and Women's Extreme Wrestling.
They had a few tryouts for the WWE on both SmackDown! and RAW but never got signed.
I have no idea why.

She was introduced by Konnan under the name 'Canadian Angel'. She teamed up with Ayako Hamada to beat Cinthia Moreno and Estrallita via DQ when Fabi Apache interfered.

Soon to be WWE Diva, Nattie Neidhart

As far as I know, Nattie Neidhart is still headed for the WWE. I think thats great, because I think a Beth Phoenix/Nattie Neidhart feud would be awesome. OR a Beth Phoenix/Nattie Neidhart tag team, either way.

Nattie is still in WWE's new development territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, due to the Deep South Wrestling closure.

Her plans and her life were hit pretty hard because of the Chris Benoit Tragedy, because Chris had been training Nattie, Harry Smith (son of the late Davey Boy Smith), T.J. Wilson (Nattie Neidhart's fiance) and Ted Hart (Ross's nephew) in Atlanta.

Sure, a pretty face and appealing figure can get a girl’s foot in the door with World Wrestling Entertainment. That helps explain how a former Playboy Playmate of the Year got as far as the finals of WWE’s inaugural RAW Diva Search in 2004 despite little apparent skill or enthusiasm for the “squared circle.”

It takes more to stick in the business.

At a minimum, it requires enthusiasm to fly to Memphis, then drive to Tupelo and Biloxi, Miss., on successive days — and then drive to Pensacola and finally New Orleans, all in less than a week.

Three years after that 2004 search, Michelle McCool is still there, even though the 1998 Palatka High School graduate was eliminated a month or so before the playmate. She was contacted a few months later, extended a contract and has been with WWE (or the affiliated Deep South Wrestling) ever since, outlasting a bout with illness — and all but one of the original Diva Search contestants.

When Sable first entered the World Wrestling Federation, she did so as the valet for Hunter Hearst Helmsley. When he acted in a rude manner to her, Marc Mero came to her aid and Sable became the manager, advisor and confidant for "the Wildman."

The truth of the matter is that Sable not only knew Marc Mero before the Helmsley incident, they were in fact married. Sable accompanied him to the WWF and in doing so has expanded her recognition immensely.

But now Beth's a heel, teaming with Melina and Jillian Hall.
Does that mean Katie Lea isn't far behind to even the odds?

I still long for a Beth/Victoria feud......

She's been a four-time world wrestling champion, written her own book, and has enjoyed success and popularity throughout the world.

But Amy Dumas feels her best days are in front of her.

The 32-year-old Dumas, better known to pro wrestling fans as Lita, is now juggling new careers, making rare independent wrestling appearances and serving as singer and songwriter for the Atlanta-based punk rock band The Luchagors.

Local fans will be able to see the red-headed beauty in both capacities when she opens a United Wrestling Federation show July 19 at Rick Hendrick Jeep Chrysler in North Charleston. She and her band will host an after-party later that evening at The Plex.

The journey from Hanover County's horse farms to the white-hot spotlight of professional wrestling seems long and improbable. And while Mickie James would agree with that assessment, she isn't one to worry about such things once she has a goal in mind.

At 27, James is one of the queen bees of the World Wrestling Entertainment's flagship brand, Raw. The Montpelier native and Patrick Henry High School graduate grew up on the weekend horse-show circuit but has been on the professional wrestling pile-driver circuit for nine years.

Melina wrestling Maria on WWE RAW

Not a lot really to say about this match.
Candice Michelle came out first and did her little dance on the outside of the ropes and joined JR and King.
Melina needs to ditch the paparazzi entrance.
And get a new hair style
Maria came out all fired up and throwing punches like she was really going to do something. I was hoping some of CM Punk might have rubbed off on her. ( Insert your own joke here)
Maria put up a decent fight ( for an interviewer) and it wasn't a squash like I thought it would be. Maria is getting better.
But lets face it, this is the WWE, we should be seeing women's wrestlers on the level of the male wrestlers.
In Japan and Mexico they don't go," Awww this is gonna suck, its a women's match!"
Melina won naturally with that leg split drop finishing move. ( JR didn't call it anything so I don't know if it has a name.)

But the whole point of the match I think was to get Candice over.
After the match Melina, who had been glaring at Candice all through the match, comes over to the announce table.
Candice, bless her heart, had the sense to stand up and Melina dove on her. Exchange of blows and Candice slams Melina into the security wall.
Melina glares at Candice. With no Johnny Nitro there to blindside Candice, Melina is pretty much at a loss as to what to do next, so she glares some more.
Candice stands up on the announce table. , Women's Belt over her head and gets what I thought was a less than stellar pop.

Louise Glover, New WWE Diva?

Louise Glover (born on February 8,1983 in St Helens, Merseyside, England) is a glamour model, and the first British model to be named "Model of the Year" in Playboy Special Editions.

A qualified fitness instructor and a beauty specialist, Glover started out her modelling career as a beauty pageant contestant, twice winning Miss St. Helens. She then became known for her glamour model work, appearing on Page 3 of British tabloids and in British lad mags, as well and has appeared in various programs on British TV, she has also been know to do topshelf style adult work.She was a finalist of the Miss Earth competition in the Philippines 2002, and Miss Hawaiian Tropic contests.

In June 2007 there was a post on her MySpace stating that she went for an interview with WWE for a possible stint.

"I've worked really hard and given up my whole life to basically be where I am now," she tells Savvy.com. "I'm wanting to do more fitness modeling as well as glamour. That gives me the best of both worlds. My aim this year is to be a WWE Wrestling Diva. I've done a lot of photo shoots in America lately, including two of my best shoots. I should have been born in America."
